Dr. Kelley, a Physician-Scientist with over thirty years of experience, excels in pioneering global healthcare technologies. His expertise in healthcare strategy and execution has been instrumental in introducing AI and other cutting-edge technologies during the pandemic, ensuring the successful delivery of quality care and expanded access to underserved communities.


As a healthcare executive, Dr. Kelley leverages his extensive experience gained from leadership roles, including Head of Esophageal Surgery at Moffitt Cancer Center and Chief of General Surgery at Lakeland Regional Health, supported by multiple publications and patents. Before transitioning to healthcare leadership, he attended Dartmouth College and Columbia University Medical School, earned board certification in general surgery from the University of Pennsylvania, completed a prestigious surgical oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center, conducted extensive post-doctoral research in NIH-funded labs, and now serves as the CEO and co-founder of SafeGuard Surgical.


His industry connections bridge academia and the private sector, including hospitals, institutions, and government bodies. He maintains cabinet-level communications with leaders at HHS, CMS, and the FDA, driving new investments and network growth.
